P225 Management of Interconnected SS7 Signalling Networks

Rationale
SS7 is a common channel signalling system defined by ITU-TS. In order to have a reliable and efficient working SS7 network, PNOs will use a TMN for managing their networks. The provisioning of ISDN and IN services on an international basis requires different SS7 networks to be connected resulting in a pan-European SS7 network. To manage a pan-European network it is necessary to exchange management information between the different TMNs across X-interfaces.
