P202 Joint Co-operative Management Services Definition and Evolution

Rationale
Joint/cooperative management among European partners may pose particular requirements on the organisational structure. This includes economic considerations and the identification of information to be exchanged and functions that must be supported. This project will analyse and identify a set of key management functions and information to be offered between PNOs at the x reference point of TMN.

The project will also analyse and identify a possible (restricted) set of customer (or other service provider) functional and information requirements in the form of management services to be offered to the customer. The project will provide the management service definition in the context of a harmonised evolutionary scenario including transitional steps defined taking into account common service level achievable in practice by most PNOs. The complete VPN, UPT, Transmission Network management studies will, however, be done in other projects.
